Kailash Yatra

From the beginning of human history billions believe, The Holy Himalaya, where the universe sprang from a place, so divine that just a glimpse of it can devour all evil, a palace of the Gods who protect the universe from the clutches of evil, ignorance, arrogance, and delusion. This place, which has been revered as the epicenter of the universe is none other than Kailash Mansarovar.

To the Hindus, Kailash, which means crystal in Sanskrit, is the earthly manifestation of Mt. Meru and the abode of Lord Shiva who with his consort goddess Parvati lives atop the mountain in utmost harmony performing yoga austerities. The Buddhists consider, it as a heaven on earth where saint Padmasambhava gained enlightenment.
