Rato Ghar
Where Every Journey Begins

Behind every successful trek and expedition in the Himalayas stands Rato Ghar—our operational command center where licensing, planning, and safety coordination come together.

Behind the Scenes

How It Works

From the first inquiry to the trail ahead, here is how every trek is planned and prepared before you set out.

01

Inquiry & Planning

Every journey starts with a conversation. We listen to what you're looking for — the trek, the timing, the group — and begin shaping an itinerary around it, from short valley trails to longer expeditions like Kailash.

02

Itinerary & Group Preparation

We finalize the route and build out the full itinerary day by day. For group treks, we prepare the complete list of trekkers and organize everyone's details ahead of departure.

03

Gear & Supply Preparation

Before any long trip, especially journeys like the Kailash circuit, we source and prepare all necessary gear and supplies in advance — everything is checked and staged here at Rato Ghar before it heads out with the team.

04

Documentation & Billing

Permits, paperwork, and billing are managed and finalized here, so that by the time you're on the trail, every document and detail is already taken care of.
